Match Mastery is an Islamic card game designed to help you learn the Names of Allah and their Meanings, in an engaging and competitive way. It is perfectly suited for a wide range of players, including families, friends and students of all levels of knowledge. With the mission of helping you in your journey to knowing your Lord. 

 Learning Allah’s Names and Attributes from the Noble Qur’an and the Sunnah is one of the best acts of worship that brings us nearer to Allah. The tremendous importance of knowing and understanding Allah’s perfect names and attributes has been highlighted throughout our religion and is a fundamental principle of Tawhid (understanding the true oneness of Allah).

Knowledge of Allah’s Names and Attributes helps us learn Who our Lord is and allows us to better glorify, praise and call upon Him. 

Match Mastery’s Islamic value is rooted in the importance of not only knowing Allah’s names but also understanding their meanings. It is through true understanding that we are able to use them as we were commanded to do so. Scroll down to learn how to play.

To ensure a smooth and competitive game, the 99 names of Allah are divided into 3 sets of 33 cards. Giving you the choice of how long you want your game to be, as well as the ability to adjust the level of information to suit you and your players’ needs.

The game consists of 2 decks of cards, Name cards and Meaning cards. The aim of the game is to correctly match as many pairs as possible before your opponents. To ensure active learning, all players must read their cards aloud or it is forfeited!

Advantage Cards

While Match Mastery's main objective is to deepen your connection with Allah and to learn His Names and Attributes, we also want it to be fun and engaging. So, to spice things up, we've created three types of advantage cards which add a layer of competitiveness and fun:

  • The Match-Taker

    This powerful advantage card allows you to take another player's hard-earned match, adding it to your own collection while leaving them at a disadvantage! This is a very useful card, especially when you want to target someone with lots of matches. Whether you're behind in the game or looking to solidify your lead, the 'Match-Taker' card is your secret weapon to success. Use it wisely and watch as the tables turn.

  • The Any-Matcher

    This wild card is your ultimate key to versatility! Ideal for those moments when the game seems against you, and you're in need of a strong comeback. The Any-Matcher card acts like a 'wild card'. When played, it can be used to match with any card in the middle of the play area, regardless of what that card is. Save these for when you're unable to make a match with your existing cards. Remember, using this card ends your turn, so use it wisely.

  • The Skipper

    This card allows you to skip another player's turn of your choice, these powerful cards are your secret arsenal, letting you skip the turn of any player! Perfect for interrupting the momentum of a leading player or blocking a rival's pending match. Whether you're aiming to throw your opponents off balance or protect your lead, deploying a Skipper Card at just the right moment can change the course of the game.
