How do you check whether you have matched a pair correctly?

In this edition, the cards are all numbered so it is easy to make correct matches between the numbered name cards and their corresponding meaning cards.

Why are the cards numbered?

The focus of this edition is to facilitate learning and understanding, whilst playing. The numbers are a subtle aid to cater to all levels of learners. Remember, each play and each match is only valid if players read the name and meaning for everyone to hear, reinforcing the game's focus on understanding Allah’s names.

Can you play with all 3 sets together?

Although sets are sold separately, all 3 sets can be combined for a longer, more comprehensive game. This is because each set covers 33 names of Allah- so combined all together, you can test your knowledge of all 99 names!

How many cards should each player start with?

As a general rule, all players should start the game with up to 10 cards each. Ensure that every player has an equal number of name cards and equal number of meaning cards.

For example,

if there are two players, they would start with 10 cards (5 name cards and 5 meaning cards).

If there are 4 players, it would be 6 cards (3 name cards and 3 meaning cards).

Depending on the number of players, reduce or increase the number of cards per player accordingly to maintain balance.

Where can I read the full 99 names and their meanings?

You can find all the 99 names with their corresponding meanings on our reference page. Click Here

Play time is usually approximately 30-45 minutes, though this completely depends on you and your players! The game can be shortened by reducing the amount of cards you play with. But for the ultimate playing experience, we encourage you to take your time and enjoy.
